About

Hello! I’m Signe. I opened up Windows Movie Maker on the family computer when I was 9, and I’ve been in love with digital creativity ever since. My tools are fancier now - I’ve traded in GIMP for Photoshop, and WMM for pretty much any software that doesn’t crash as much - but my obsession with manifesting ideas into a (frequently digital) reality, fine-tuning until every detail is sweetly crafted, has not changed. There is so much magic in creativity, and technology has accelerated our ability to express ourselves and achieve our goals. The internet has expanded our reach, granting access to audiences, collaborators, and markets across the globe. In my career, I’ve been lucky to work with clients and colleagues from a variety of industries, time zones, and countries. Drawing upon my experience in UX strategy and design consulting for Fortune 500 companies, as well as my passion for artistic expression, I help my clients bring their visions to life. Whether you dream of transforming your digital presence, starting a small business, promoting your services, or elevating your passion project, I’d be happy to help you get started.

When I’m not sitting in front of my computer for hours, I’m practicing athletic arts: powerlifting, shuffle dance, kickboxing, salsa, tai chi, roller skating etc. I believe so much in the transformative power of physical movement that I started teaching martial arts and shuffle dance with my fiancé at WA Dojo.

I went to Adobe MAX!

In October 2022, I had the opportunity to travel to Los Angeles for the Adobe MAX creativity conference. This was the first in-person MAX since the 2020 COVID pandemic as well as my first time going to a conference. I attended workshops and lectures on the topics of videography, graphic design, typography, lettering, and branding, and I honed my skills in Premiere Pro, Illustrator, and Photoshop. In editing this vlog about my experience, I got to practice my Premiere Pro skills (and I also practiced some of my dance moves at the MAX Bash 🕺).
